NEW SERVICE MEDAL TO BE RELEASED SOON
Did you serve in the Defence Force but not qualify for any medal?
Would you like to commemorate your service with a medal similar
to those worn by servicemen/women the world over?
Very soon a medal will be available for you to do just that.
The medal will be made in nickel and suspended on a smart riband
in red, navy blue and light blue, signifying the Army, Navy and
Air Force.
The medal will be available to all who served in the Australian
Defence Force, our allies (excluding Japan from World War 1) and
their relatives in the event that the serviceman/woman has passed
away.
